 Sandy Jacobson……

Here to make your move easier……
Moving – even for the happiest of reasons in the best of times – is rarely simple. It’s got a lot of parts, each with their own timing and a few risk factors.
A move can also be part of other kinds of life transitions, with their own sets of emotions and complications.
If it’s been a while since you’ve bought or sold a home, you’re a first time home buyer, down sizing, or moving out of state, I’m here to help you find the perfect place for the next phase of your life. Whether it’s the dream house that tells the world you’ve arrived . . . a quiet retreat where you can step back, take stock and plan your second act . . . the space that fits your empty nest . . . or the nest you’re just starting to feather.
Whatever the reasons for your move, I’m here to make it easier.
By choosing me to assist in the sale or purchase of your home you will receive:
  •      A full time real estate professional
  •     Capable negotiations are at the core of my business
  •     A passionate commitment to top quality service
  •     Extensive knowledge of St. Louis’ wonderful neighborhoods
  •     A thorough understanding of the St. Louis market
  •     Effective and constant communication
  •     Strong organizational skills
  •     Passion for helping my clients however I can

I bring an ease to my clients through careful planning, solid relationships with quality contractors and consistent follow through.

Easing the process is just the start. Today’s real estate environment calls for a non-traditional approach. My services are tailored to meet the individual needs of each client. Using fresh approaches to marketing, I’m able to reach a wider pool of potential buyers and sellers than the traditional agent.
To maintain the highest standard of service, I continually seek knowledge and information, as evidenced by my designation of Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI). In the current real estate market I sought a certification of Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) and Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR) in order to be able to competently serve any client who may potentially need that service.
I specialize in the St. Louis Central Corridor. Cities included in this area are University City, Clayton, Ladue, Webster Groves, Kirkwood and the Central West End.

My wife and I decided to downsize and move from U. City to South City in 2011. Sandy took the time to learn from us exactly what we were looking for in our new home to limit the amount of time we wasted in our home search. At my request, Sandy initially set up a whirlwind Saturday of many house visits. She was very good at gauging our reactions to the houses we saw initially and quickly started showing us only houses we loved.

On the sale of my old house, she gave us a lot of good advice on preparing our house for sale. She advised us to repaint the exterior window trim (it was brightly colored) and to replace our modernist chandelier in the entry foyer with a very traditional chandelier. I hated the advice and was reluctant to do it, but I did it and she was right. She had other advice that I resisted, but my wife would say to do it and I did it and Sandy was right.

We had a problem with our buyer and their agent. They were not particularly honest. Sandy was a huge help in dealing with the situation. One thing I remember in particular. We had a condition in our basement. We disclosed it completely, including the extent of the condition. Our price reflected the condition. The buyer's inspection highlighted the condition. No surprise. But then the buyers, on the last day of the inspection period, demanded a $30,000 reduction in the price for the condition. It's been some years and I don't recall exactly how she handled it, but Sandy did handle it and at the end of the day we closed on time and without a price reduction.

I have recommended Sandy to several friends, including a co-worker, and they have all been very happy with her services.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. It was a pleasure to work with you both, and I remember it vividly. So glad you love your home and neighborhood!

Sandy helped us in the search and purchase of our new home. We met her at another open house and were impressed by her professionalism and calm demeanor. The timing wasn't right for us to puchase the home she was showing, but then Sandy worked to find us an even better place. We would recommend her with out hesitation.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. It was fun working with you and getting to know your family. I hope the girls love the pool and the location!

Thank you for your review! We were a good team and got it done. Having someone who knows the business as a client can be really good or really bad. You were great!

Sandy helped us buy a condo in a complex niche market. She is a pro but also is very pleasant to deal with. She was especially good negotiating concessions from the seller and working under a tight schedule. Couldn't have been more happy with her.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. You were so easy, fun and funny to work with. I loved how excited you were to start the carefree condo life! I wish you many happy comings and goings to visit your kids.

Sandy was an outstanding partner throughout our entire re-location process, from helping us to understand the community, to finding the ideal home, to facilitating our move and helping us get settled. I have already begun referring friends and colleagues to her so that they can experience the same level of excellence.

Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review. I thoroughly enjoyed working with you both. The response when we walked into the house of..."This is it!" made me know you picked the right home for your family :) Here's to many happy memories to be made in your new home!
